Jesu li zahtjevne za isklijavanje? Probao bih sa par sjemenki čisto eksperimentalno u običnoj zemlji za cvijeće, pa da znam imam li se čemu nadati. 

Trenutno se natapaju u vodi par dana.

Dates grow bigger fast and although still green, flesh has edible date smell!

Evo mogu potvrditi. 

Nakon mjesec dana, od 10 posađenih, 9 ih je proklijalo. Čitao sam negdje da im treba dva-tri mjeseca, ali očito su vrućine malo ubrzale stvar.

Anyway plant is very small and has bloomed for the first time. Therefore I still think it has good prospects.

Ripe dates so fast? Not very sweet though, but also not astringent or sour or moldy.

KT, can you show us the seeds from these fruits? I have yet to see dactylifera produce viable seeds in mainland Greece. If the seeds are ripe, it must mean that the year was excellent in terms of temperature and humidity.

I have not shot any picture. Maybe next time. But here are pictures of seeds from aborted fruits a couple of weeks ago.
