Bauhinia purpurea and bauhinia variegata

Bauhinia variegata prodices flowers of different colors, among them also purple. Bauhinia purpurea produces also purple flowers, but purple from purple is different! Here is an example:

The purpura flower has a patch on the inner side of a petal with yellowish color. On variegata flower this patch is of same color like the external color of purpurea!
