Chamaedorea glaucifolia je jedna od viših chamaedorea naraste do 5 metara dolazi iz prašuma Mexica,raste brzo.
Njeni listovi su tamno zelene boje,a sa donje strane ima srebrnasto plavu nijansu koji mogu biti dugi do 1.5 metar.Glaucifolia dobro podnosi sunce u odnosu na druge chamaedore
Sigurna je od zone 9b može do -3C

Lijepa palmica. Posebno ako se posadi u skupinama.
Inače ako je neka palma sigurna u USDA 9b, znači da podnosi temperature do -4°C ( 25°F ).

Dobro je. Otvorila je list i to veliki dosta brzo. Doduše nisam siguran  koja je koja. Glaucifolia ili cataraktum. Ova druga je malo sporija.

My own glaucifolia. They are fast growers and quite tolerant of dry soil. Next year they will go in to ground.

So good plants KT.. Can you tell me please how much have years palms from 2 pics in pots? I see they are starting to create timber? So good!!

Yes. they are from seeds and are 4 y.o.

That's mostly perlite soil? My has strange impulses in growth rates I can't figure it out.

No, not mainly perlite. It has been only an ingredient, which by time has floated. I have added also native clay soil, sand, pumice and cocos peat. It looked an owful soil mix but this plant loves it!!! I won't risk it however with other Chamaedorea specimens. One small detail is that pots are the same small ones for all 4 years.
